Understanding groundwater aquifer parameters (hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity and storativity for example) is important in site dewatering evaluation. It is beneficial to both Engineers and contractors to have a good understanding about the hydrogeology of a site before designing and constructing a dewatering system.
